There’s something magical about photographing families in the heart of a city—especially one as electric as Hong Kong. For this session, we embraced the movement and rhythm of city life, weaving through the streets, hopping on a tram, and taking in the skyline from the Star Ferry. These in-between moments are where real stories unfold.

My background in street photography thrives in settings like this, where the chaos isn’t a distraction but part of the narrative. The contrast of urban grit and intimate family moments made every frame feel cinematic, each one a still from a larger story.

But beyond the visuals, what made this session unforgettable was the people. From the moment I met Samantha and her family, there was this instant connection—one of those rare moments where you meet someone and just know they’re special. Genuine, kind, full of warmth—the type of people you cross paths with and wish you had more time to spend with.
