Every year, this Texas family does something beautifully unconventional. Instead of the usual Thanksgiving festivities, they trade turkey dinners for new adventures, creating lifelong memories in a different corner of the world.
This year, they chose Copenhagen—its cozy streets, crisp winter air, and golden light as the backdrop to their story. And they brought me along to document it.

We started the family photo session in Nyhavn, one of the most famous attractions in the city. Afterwards we walked a few blocks to Amalienborg Palace. We then finished the photo shoot in the gardens infront of Rosenborg Castle.
